People Power!

Please see today's Portsmouth News, hard copy or online (Ibelieve), for its front page news regarding the refusal of Hayling's Rook Farm proposed Development. It is important that we all stay on top of this issue and any media about it. Judgement Summary

An independent Planner suggested that the following is perhaps 'the best summary to date' and it is by a legal firm; he 'stripped away' surplus material' for the layperson. Please be aware that 'interpretation' of terms is usually the legal brief and I think we will have to wait to read Havant Borough Council's interpretation and its effect on Hayling. Narrow win at the Supreme Court by Hogan Lovells So here it is, the highly anticipated Supreme Court judgment on the interpretation and legal status of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). It is essential that voters take Hustings seriously because they are a key means of not only listening to candidates but witnessing their responses to a wide range of questions. All the candidates attending worked hard to provide answers but there was a sharp difference in individual responses revealing some surprising lack of knowledge. It is clear that voters need to know the best person for the job – the Hustings provided considerable insight. Please see our website NEWS for our report. Fly-tipping remains a serious concern for residents. Everyone should know that if we don

General Election Hustings!

Warblington & Denvilles Residents' Association will host this Hustings. In view of the very short notice for this Election, it was felt that candidates may be pressed to attend what could be at least 4 Residents' Associations' Hustings - including Hayling Island's - as well as all their meetings around our Constituency. Therefore Warblington & Denvilles RA (WDRA) in central Havant invited other Residents' Associations to attend. To encourage as many as possible to be able to attend, may I urge you to lift share and encourage ot
