HBC's Brownfield Register
Havant Borough Council's Brownfield Register: Government requires Brownfield sites to be identified for development & greenfield sites are not to be included in them (see online: Brownfield land registers for the Government's statements) but windfall are included. Go to HBC's current register spreadsheet & see if they've left out any brownfield sites on Hayling.
HIRA has also been alerted to a notice of intention, posted at Mengham (sic) Lane, to build 45 houses on the field north of Selsmore Rd. between Salterns Lane and Mengham Lane. Residents need to press HBC Councillors and Planning Officers to ensure that, before any development on greenfield sites is agreed, developers are required to seek permission on brownfield sites.
