"Portsmouth Water Draft Water Resources Management Plan (DWRMP)
We have launched a public consultation of our Draft Water resources Management Plan (DWRMP). The consultation will involve getting views from both the general public and our stakeholders. The consultation lasts until Friday 25th May 2018. To help with the consultation we have produced a summary of the plan (which you can find a link to at the bottom of this page and on the website). We will be carrying out extensive communication activity throughout the consultation period covering customers, local community groups, using social media via Twitter and Facebook and as well as some local press coverage including writing direct to many stakeholders, organisations and individuals such as Councillors / MP’s etc.
The summary talks about what we have done since our last plan, feedback we have already received from customers and how we intend to continue to provide water for the next 25 years.
A key feature in the DWRMP is our plans for a new water resource for the south east – a reservoir at Havant Thicket.
More details about the DWRMP can be found on our website www.portsmouthwater.co.uk including a short questionnaire that lets you tell us whether you agree with the plan. Everyone who completes the questionnaire will be entered into a competition to win an iPad.
