Hayling Seafront

The future of Hayling seafront

Help transform Hayling seafront

Residents, visitors and businesses have an opportunity to shape how Hayling Island seafront is transformed - via an online survey set to go live this week.

The survey aims to find out how four sites, owned by Havant Borough Council, can be used at Creek Road, Eastoke, Beachlands and West Beach before looking at the seafront as a whole.

Working with HemingwayDesign, Havant Borough Council is looking to develop the ideas and vision to regenerate Hayling Island seafront with the possibility of gaining high quality mixed use developments for new homes and leisure facilities.

Councillor Leah Turner, Cabinet lead for Communities, Development and Housing said “I encourage everyone to take part in this survey. It is taking place in the hope that finances will be available to allow us to breathe new life into the island's leisure and tourism - as well as making it an even better place to live, work and visit.”

The survey can be found at www.havant.gov.uk/ourseafront and will run until Monday 24 September.

The Draft Plan to 2036 Proposals for commerce and town centre development and the 4 Hayling seaside locations can be found centre page on the link above.

Our online survey is your chance to have a say about the future of Hayling Island seafront. The survey is available until Monday 24 September 2018 and you could win £100 in shopping vouchers for taking part.
