As you are signed up to the Local Plan Contact Database, we thought you would like to know about the upcoming https://www.havant.gov.uk/development-consultation-forums on land at Padnell Grange, Padnell Road, Waterlooville.
A DCF is essentially an opportunity for the prospective developer of a significant development to present their proposal to a wider audience prior to submitting a planning application. The council then facilitates a structured question and answer session about it. The council hopes that as a result of the DCF the developer will be better informed as to the community expectations prior to submitting a planning application.
DCF meetings are held in public and whilst the public are encouraged to attend and listen, only invited stakeholders (including residents associations), councillors and officers can speak. Although you will not be able to speak at the meeting itself, we hope you will attend to find out more about significant development proposals emerging for the borough and hear the discussion about them. There is generally a display stand showing the proposals from 6pm outside the meeting room. This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about what is being proposed and speak with the developer as well.

DCF Proposal: Development of 86 new homes
The site is allocated for residential development in the adopted Local Plan (Allocations Plan) [July 2014] under reference W126. The site has also been proposed as a housing allocation in the Draft Havant Borough Local Plan 2036 under reference H46 (Pages 277 to 279).
