Protest Against Sewage Saturday

Protest Against Sewage: across the south coast, protests of like-minded people highlighting to Southern Water & our politicians how dangerous the excrement and increasing proportion of drugs are for children & adults involved in year round watersports where anyone is exposed to the frequently fouled water, subsequently suffering long-term infections: through cuts, eyes, nose, mouth, ears. Continuous pollution is also damaging the marine environment in both Langstone & Chichester. SW and similar companies find it cheaper to pay government fines than to invest in increased holding tanks and/or improved treatment works - there's always another excuse. For Chichester Harbour: SOSCA, Fishbourne, Bosham, Chidham etc. are also demonstrating as are Southsea too.

Where/when: Havant Climate Alliance and Havant Friends of the Earth are joining SOSCA (Save Our South Coast Alliance) in demonstrating against Sewage being released into our Harbours.

Gathering from 11 am - 12 noon on Saturday 26th November on the north side of Hayling Bridge near the Ship Inn.Come and join us.Please wear warm clothes and wet weather gear if needed. If you have them, wear high-viz jackets and colourful hats and gloves. We are planning to supply placards with large letters spelling out our message, so that it will be visible to drivers going by. More would be welcome but they need to be large. Contact if more info needed: SOS@maydayactiongroup.co.uk
