Make a Difference!

Despite over 5000 petition signatures and endless residents' complaints demanding an Infrastructure Review by HBC and HCC before any more developments are approved, I see today that only about 466 residents have written in their comments on the Rook Farm Planning APP/17/00007. HIRA's and my own have been posted before the deadline tomorrow. Have you played your part and written in your own comments? Not all of our members choose to use the internet so it is vital that all of you encourage your friends and neighbours to write in their views NOW please!

HIRA's website link to the Havant BC Rook Farm App website is:

Any complaints at all about HBC's website please call 023 9244 6530 or email:planning.development@havant.gov.uk which will get you through to the Business Support Team. This information comes directly from David Hayward, Planning Policy Team Leader.

The known Brent Geese recordings, accepted by Natural England have, apparently, not been followed up by any comment concerns by Natural England's Land Use Lead Adviser, Dorset, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Area Team because of their staff changes. The new Lead Adviser has now been asked if and when they will make the necessary comment. HBC is obliged to take note of official bodies such as Natural England's comments before making Application decisions.

Mill Rythe Planning App/16/01237: In response to my concern that we had not had prior notice of this significant Application, David Hayward explained that "You may have also noticed from the application form for the current planning application that pre-application advice was sought in September 2016. Just to clarify though that this was not a planning application and that any pre-application discussions that take place remain confidential." If you are also worried about the consequences of this Application (Chichester Harbour Conservancy has already objected) then please check the link address giving the planning history and make your own views known to the Officers:

Don't forget our RNLI Public Meeting this evening at the Lifeboat Station 7:30 pm! It is essential that you park behind the Station itself, so leave the Station to your left to drive through the open gate ahead and park there. The usual, front car park must be left vacant in case of Lifeboat Call-Outs.
