Railway Cottages Petition
There is a petition called Save the Railway Cottages, which now has over 1,000 comments. These 18th century cottages are Grade 2 listed, in Langstone Conservation Area and can be readily viewed immediately to the west of the A3023 Havant Road. We have over 50 images of them, taken from inside and out, which show how they were constructed, so that they could be faithfully restored. I have also written a piece for the January Hayling Islander.
Perhaps members of HIRA and NEHRA etc would like to add their comments, as we are assured that Havant Borough Council is on the case and we wish to support them.
